In the history of the superbowl era, there has never been a Bama player who was drafted(as a Bama draft pick) and played in the super that scored a TD!
Namath was the MVP of the superbowl and didn't throw a TD pass or run one in.
All the defensive studs and no one scored.
And it won't happen this year as no Bama players are playing in the Superbowl.

Bart Starr was a two time super bowl MVP and threw 3 td passes in the superbowl.

this isn't a graduation award.
the AFL-NFL championship from 67-69 was renamed superbowl. The merger in 1970 changed the name retroactively.
Also at the time of Bart Starr's TDs the NFL did not award Tds to the qb and only to the WR.

I think a bigger stat is LSU went 1-3 against teams with a pulse with the Heisman Trophy winner, and he gone.

Nah everyone knows why that happened. Our D sucked. Kinda like Bama players in the NFL.
