The church angle is so eight months ago, and hasn't Cecil already submitted financial records to the NCAA?
And I seem to remember numerous sources saying that if Cecil got money, that it was visibly obvious it didn't go to that church.

Trust me, if there was ANY type of indication the Newtons all of a sudden got an influx of money, it would've been written about or pointed out by now.
Think about all the articles that have been written about AU in the last 8 months. Not one was themed "Before Cam went to AU the newtons had...... after he went to AU, all of a sudden they got...."

Wouldn't be surprising right now, considering he's the #1 draft pick and out of school now.

I was talking about a year and a half ago when he committed to AU.
The only article I saw that addressed Cecil's financial situation was a Thayer Evans hit piece that actually portrayed a broke arse hell Cecil and not one who just got 200k

Damn, I just listened to it. One thing I definitely get from this is that he is an arrogant little prick, lol.

was this just more re-hashing of old stuff?

He was definitely defensive and I'd bet he called Finebaum wanting to come on so that he could "set the record straight".

Well basically it was an interview of Danny talking about how awesome he is, how many friends he has and people on the inside that talk to him because he is super cool. Then he started talking about taking a polygraph test for everything he said.
EDIT: @ AlaHunter yeah thats what I was thinking after hearing him

I haven't read the thread, so maybe it was covered. Sheridan was pissed about the way some writers had portrayed him after his last Finebaum appearance. He didn't really say anything new, but clarified, somewhat his last appearance.
He stated that his sources said that the NCAA has identified a witness who can corroborate that money was given to the Newtons, but that it was 50/50 on whether that source would come forward and cooperate.
I had to get out of the car, so I missed any follow up after that.

Is this a violation?

Senior Auburn running back Davis Hooper apparently proposed to his girlfriend Hanna Whitehead this steamy Auburn afternoon. In high definition.

A violation of romanticism

How convenient!

The NCAA loves them some witnesses. Especially secret ones. Maybe they don't need the alleged guy to come forward.

He said at the very end that he would have a name in 2 weeks or before but he probably wouldn't tell it on the radio
How are we supposed to know if he has it in 2 weeks?

If what Sheridan said is true and there really is someone who transferred the money to Cecil how funny would it be if he is trying to shake down the Newtons now? They were trying to get money from schools for Cams services and maybe this guy has turned the tables on them. He can say you give me some of Cam's signing money or I go to the NCAA with our little transaction.
If there really is a bag man why would he come forward with any information. He would have to be an Auburn supporter so why burn Auburn? Danny said his source said that 100% they know the bag man but he has to verify it. How could they know the individual without having proof?

You must place your 7 digit figure bet on the line with him and when his polygraph comes back clean, you will know.
Posted on 7/28/11 at 8:17 pm to chinese58
Said he would bet anyone 7 figures and take a polygraph, but he didn't explain what he was betting on. At the bottom of all his grandstanding he essentially said it was 50/50 whether AU would get in trouble.
