This is a terrible post, but I love Shaq.

He’s one of those athletes that’s such a good person, he transcends team identity and “rivalry.”

Really just a positive role model to root for.

What's neat about him that an easy guess is that probably half...or more.....of the good deeds he does goes unreported. My favorite is when he heard that a young boy in California, dying from cancer, had a last wish to see snow. Shaq hired 3-4 18wheelers to go up into the nearby mountains & load up with snow. Then they went to the boy's house late that nite & covered the yard in piles of that snow.

The people involved know about it.

He just doesn’t promote himself publicly, or asks to remain anonymous when it’s a public event.

Agree - Shaq is very likable. I also think that Peyton Manning is too.
