No problem. You can make up and believe anything you want. I'm okay with that. I still think you are insecure about national championships that no one thinks Alabama actually won or deserved.

You all spend 89.9 percent of your online time directed towards invalidating any and every achievement Alabama has ever had...
So what? Does that minimize Alabama's achievements?

Then, a lone poster makes one post defending the illustrious achievements of Alabama...
If they're so illustrious, why do you feel the need to defend them?
Your posts just reek of insecurity, give it a rest. Let Alabama's accomplishments speak for themselves.

The rest of them aren't really worth going over because you should all be more familiar with them.
What they don't want to consider, is that Bama did drop in the polls and USC went up, but.... Bama didn't lose another game that year and continued to rise in the polls, whereas USC lose to an unranked team and fell in the polls.
Bama went undefeated the rest of the season. Bama was ranked #2 and defeated #1 Penn State in the Sugar Bowl, one of the all time classic games which featured the "Goal Line Stand". The AP voted Alabama #1 with 38 votes; USC got 19 votes; and OU got 1 vote.
USC was ranked #3 and defeated #5 Michigan in the Rose Bowl on a controversial play "Phantom Touchdown" where USC's rb fumbled the ball before crossing the plane, but one official ruled it a TD.

If we all did this, tRant would have about 10 posters. Talking shite is the best part about online message boards. Why would I let the accomplishments speak for themselves when I can tell you over and over?

You are an AU fan and your name has Bammer in it. Why dont you choose to be an AU fan first instead of a pathetic fan first?

I never said you couldn't tear down others' accomplishments.

Why would I let the accomplishments speak for themselves...?
Because you actually minimize them when you defend them.
And I say this as an LSU fan who appreciates Alabama's Rose Bowl titles. It's just that 1941 tho. Although it makes a good troll, I wish it didn't have to stomp on State's lone conference title. It would be better if it was an Auburn or Tennessee title.

20 years from now, I'll have to explain to a whole new crop of the wilfully ignorant that the BCS really did count and Bama's NC's during that time actually are valid.
Well except for the fact that I think there was only one split championship during the BCS era and Bama was not involved.

Can we at least get a little brevity? If you write a novel like the OP did I can pretty much guarantee no one other than Bama fan will read it.

It amazes me that so many love to brag about the SEC and how it's the best in CFB, but they don't realize how much of our image is due to the accomplishnents of Bama. Over half of the league has added very little to the league's image.
Face it, take away Alabama's accomplishments and the SEC is just another conference.

What exactly was made up, if you care to talk about it? I'll try to respond in a reasonable amount of time to any response you don't have.

Silly auNeck. Different boards, new boards, old boards, different periods of time, etc...
Because you have had one identity since 2012, when your mother allowed you to get online and are only allowed to post on SEC Rant, doesn't mean everyone has had that same experience.

Nice encapsulation, Jatebe, well done. But you forgot that most posters on message boards don't understand football.

Well, you know, except for every single person in this thread who says they haven't read it.
How long did it take you to read it?

And, you know, that whole thing where LSU done got cheated and Oklahoma State done got cheated and Alabama illegally stole a BCS title by not allowing a group of pathetic coonies to cross the 50 yard line in like, forever.
So, that one doesn't count because it was the wrong game at the wrong time and it was played for the wrong reasons by the wrong people.
Take that one away, which idiots like the ones on this board will surely do a decade or so from now, and Alabama only has 3 legit NC's.
