Where in the top 25 would Alabama’s second string players rank if they were a separate team?

Maybe 20th or 15th I’d say. Extremely impressive depth for the Tide. Depends on if you think Texas would have pulled it out which they probably would have and Arkansas could have beaten that iteration as well, still probably ranked 20-25 with the those two losses considering Saban’s rep at this point.

Forgot to mention: If you got guys the caliber of drew sanders x-ferring out your depth is pretty goddamn nasty

It honestly depends how good the backup qb is.

It’s becoming insanely apparent that you have to have a above average QB to be anything in college football.

When Saban changed with the times and hired Kiffin and then Sarkisian, it attracted top qb's and wr's. This is why Bama has a backup qb who I am told is the fastest player on the team. This is how Bama has produced 3 starting qb's, and many receivers in the NFL. But it is not the same at every position. As for overall team ranking, I doubt Bama would be in the top 25 as a team with the second team in as the starters. It should be noted that there is a wr drop off this year which suggest that perhaps this offensive recruiting trend left when Sarkisian took the Texas job. Only time will tell.

Alabama doesn't have backups, which is what we were told after the national championship game, so 131st presumably.
