An incomplete.
He left class partway through the semester.
Needs to attend summer school.

LSU was Ole Miss until Saban came to BR. Lane made them a contender and I think Pete along as he can get a QB can keep them competitive

This is relevant to kiffin’s grade at Ole miss how exactly?

A solid A+. Now, I wouldn't say that will translate over to LSU. It could. If i were an LSU fan, I would be very excited about the possibilities, but things don't always play out like expected.

We all thought Dan Mullen would be a home run hire at Florida.
Ditto for Kalen DeBoer. (Could still, but not looking great right now)
Brian Kelly at LSU.
Jimbo Fisher at Texas A&M.
The list goes on and on of people saying, "If Coach ______ can do that well at his present school, he can kill it at University of ________.

We'll see. Who knows? Maybe it will translate over.

Getting rid of Woodward was a very underrated move IMO. I think it's opened up the floodgates and they're giving Kiffin whatever he wants.

Honestly, if he fails, it's 100% on him. The administration is giving him everything as are the boosters.

This is a huge key. It would be a coaches worst nightmare to not have resources provided by the school he is supposed to be winning for. It should go a long way. I have no doubt, it will be easier to recruit for LSU, have more money and better facilities...and a great fan base. He is set up for success. There won't be any excuses if he fails.

Incomplete is the only accurate grade.

A solid A+

As a few others ITT have said, it's hard to give any coach an A+ without any hardware.

Curt Cignetti gets an A+ for winning a NC at one of the worst programs historically in CFB.

I agree, our schedule will be tougher and the expectations/pressure higher than what he faced at OM.

He won 10 or more games in 4 of the past 5 years at OM and they were thrilled and wanted to marry the hoe as they have said.

At LSU, 10-11 games will be expected and he will feel the heat if he doesn't win at that level after year one for sure.

He has definitely brought energy and excitement back to the program in a way that Kelly never did.

We tried to like him...I think he tried to like us (maybe)....but it didn't play out like expected as you said.
