Not triggered at all. Rivalries actually mean something to the rest of the conference. It is a big reason why Auburn fans/alum want to be moved to the East.
I remember hearing Alabama and Georgia fans chanting "Auburn sucks" before last year's SECCG.
Georgia/GA Tech is called Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate.
Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida all maintain their in state rivalries. Kentucky is even building an OOC in state rivalry with Louisville.
You Faggies ran away from UTA. Mizzou ended one of the greatest rivalries - from a straight history standpoint - with Kansas.
But it all makes sense, really. The formation of the Big 12 ended more than a few old Big 8 rivalries. And while it seems like I am being critical of Tamu here, I do understand that a lot of that was UTA's doing.

Rivalries mean something to us, but not to the point of committing harikari, just to continue playing a game in ATX every other year, rather than advancing and strengthening our university in every way.

Believe it or not Baylor is damn near neck and neck with texass for me. Baylor fans blame A&M for lots of B12 disharmony but texass was dumping their arse in the dirt when they tried to cut a deal with the Pac that did not include Baylor.
Generally pull for TCU and UH. Really don't give SMU or Rice much thought at all anymore. Texas Tech as a school and their fans are just plain trashy. Believe dat.
