He’s worked hard and got a great package to the architecture program at Auburn. He’s leaving for the right reasons and Auburn seems to be trending up. Early entry avg. was 4.2 GPA and 29 ACT.

Maybe he could explain to those people how unhealthy it is to set trees on fire.

Congrats. I know Auburn has been working hard to improve its popularity for out of state kids. Getting a lot more interest from Houston kids lately.

Outstanding..congrats! Kentucky, LSU or Auburn would have all been great Choices.
Auburn has a great campus, community and people. I'm sure they willl enjoy the time and meet some great folks there.

My daughter (no pics) is a second year student at Auburn. She absolutely loves it! Even as a parent of a student there I really don't have any complaints.

My biggest complaint would probably be the lack of student housing...

If you have any questions about anything I'll be happy to answer them

Early entry avg

This is the category Auburn now quotes for their overall acceptance rate, which is a lie. But for those who are actually accepted during the early entrance period, it’s a great accomplishment.

Congrats!

How would you know this and why is it a lie?

I ask because two years ago I heard similar statistics for my kids class, also heard from in state parents that said they knew of numerous kids with good grades and high ACT scores that did not get into Auburn... as a parent of a current student, everything I have read and heard about this acceptance rate trends true

It’s still much better than uat’s acceptance rate (39% vs 85%)… btw UAT ranks even lower than UAB in the USNWR and WSJ rankings. UAT is the new Birmingham-Southern now…

Auburn is a back up school for kids who couldn’t get in Georgia, Alabama or Florida.

Alabama is much much easier to get into that Auburn
