Selling Tickets Outside the Superdome??

What are the scalping laws at the Superdome? There is an outside chance that my buddies and I may end up with 3 extra tickets for the Sugar Bowl. We ordered through the Razorback Foundation (haven't heard back yet) and also bought 3 from a friend who was selling his at face, just to cyoa. If the Razorback Foundation is unable to fill our request, we will have seats in the upper deck, corner. But, if the Razorback Foundation fills our order, we'll likely be lower bowl in the HOG section and we'll want to sell the 3 in the upper deck.
Does the Superdome allow for selling tickets above face on or near their premises? Just curious about our options in case we have extras...(I'll hang up and listen)

It's against the law, but only if you get caught. Try to sell them before you make the trip.

I think it will be easy to get tix to this game at face the closer it gets to game day.

Little Rock PD likes to flex their dicks at games like this year's LSU game and bust people scalping tickets. They have several undercover cops on the golf course and at the stadium. Does NOPD even give a frick about that stuff?

put them on TD ticket exchange.

If we end up with extras, i'll most likely check into Stub-Hub, Craig's list or put it here on the ticket exchange board (or all 3).

NOPD has a lot bigger issues to worry about than how much you make off of your tickets.

Well, that was my initial take, but I just wanted to know if they had any special emphasis on that. LRPD has plenty of stuff to worry about on gameday too, but it doesn't stop them from puttin a ridiculous number of resources into stopping folks from making $50 on football tickets.

I've never heard of them hassling anyone outside of the dome. With that being said, I'm not sure why anyone would pay above face value for uppers for the Sugar Bowl. There will be plenty tickets to be had outside of the stadium. I'm sure some people are right now, I just know that it will be stupid to do so.

Be careful selling right outside Dome, there are signs posted regarding this as well.
There will be so many people walking from quarter to Dome - sell them on the streets before you get to Dome

bought my '07 tickets for less than face on the walk from the quarter to the Dome. Got them from one of a dozen people on the way I saw selling them. No police hassling in view.
Ed: to clarify, i was walking down Bourbon and so were the ddozen or so scalpers i saw.

I'm not looking to fund an enormous crack and hooker habit, so we're not going to be trying to sell ours for huge profit. TBH, just re-couping what we have in them will be fine. But just wondering if the opportunity presented itself to pocket some extra, how leery should I be.
