I think the point he was trying to make is that parents shouldn't be taking kids that young shopping so late at night.

One is an adult next year and has a great deal of agency, the other is still very much a child. You know damn well my issue is the time not the location but since you insist on going on about it I’ll just give you what you want; you are a bad parent.

how old did the shooter appear to be. I had 3 there at the time who left the mall and headed to Olive Garden
If this was indeed the shooter, he looked to be a younger, African-American male.

10 o'clock on a holiday with no school tomorrow isn't all that late for a 10 year old to be out.

What difference, from a responsibility standpoint is there? Is a 10 year old more susceptible to gunfire than a 17 year old? Is one less important?
This is a stupid argument but, if you think that taking your child to store at 10:00 is bad parenting, then I assume you have no kids and tend to give into fear a lot.
I blame the shooter, you blame the shopper.
Geez.

Hoover PD:
Suspect and an 18 year old got into a physical confrontation. Suspect shot the 18 year old, who has been transported to UAB in serious condition. A 12 year old girl was also shot. A Hoover Police officer engaged the suspect and killed him.

I hope there isn't a clear video, because it sounds like the officer just took him out without trying to properly arrest him. I'm all for this, when you've shot someone, the police has full authority to take you out.
However, the libtards of the world will run around protesting this "unjust" shooting.

Yeah but I still wouldn't bring a 10 year old out during the craziness that is Black Friday shopping.
