Well, since you were 5-5 last season. I am going to go with, yes.

To take a page out of Farmer's playbook, TJ Finley and Bo Pelini ain't walking through that door.

Hell, a lot of the people from 2020 ain't walking through that door.

Hell, they still managed to go 9-3 in 2016 when they fired their coach midseason and Danny Etling only threw 12 touchdowns all year.

Obviously, there is more than 1 way to skin a cat.

In 16 yall have an elite defense. I don't see that as a realistic possibility in 21. Do you? So it its not the defense and its not elite QB play, what is it? Dominant run game? Are the OL and backs ready to make that jump?

Who knows.

I just know it doesn't take Joe Brady or Joe Burrow to go 9-3 at LSU.

Ed is 15-9 in the SEC

So he averages 5-3 in conference without Joe Burrow.

Very true, but the trend is not ideal.

71% pre Burrow with Miles recruits
50% post Burrow with his recruits

And 1 season isn’t a trend.

As much as Aggies want to ignore Jimbo’s seasons where he went 5-3 and 4-4 in the SEC.

1. Alabama (12-0)
2. Texas A&M (9-3)
3. Ole Miss (8-4)
4. Miss State (7-5) (Beats LSU H2H)
5. LSU (7-5)
T6. Arkansas, Allbarn (6-6)

No one ignores that. It was where we started. Sumlin left the roster with a lot to be desired. Jimbo has slowly built up the talent to a level where a championship isn't unrealistic.

That's one year. That isn't "a trend."

with Miles recruits

2021 - 3rd ranked recruiting class
2020 - 4th ranked recruiting class
2019 - 5th ranked recruiting class

LSU had the 6th most talented team in 2020. The only team that LSU played in 2020 that had more talent was Bama. Talent isn't the issue.

It doesn’t sound like you know what a trend is.
