He doesn't have to for LSU to finish above and beat Ole Miss.

Lsu is 2 places ahead of aTm and we beat you by at least 10

“New QB” is way overblown these days. Not that long ago we had a QB drafted in the top 10 and his replacement won the Heisman as a redshirt freshman. You see it all over the place where first time starters can come in and excel.

To be fair, some of that is just this year's schedule. I would argue Bama (obviously), LSU, and Ole Miss are the only games where a loss is not significantly surprising (obviously not really "surprising" in the case of Bama). Not saying we can't get shocked by someone else, we obviously can. But those 3 are the only REALISTIC losses.

What am I missing with Ole Miss?

I'll certainly take that. So you're saying LSU finishes at least 2 or more spots ahead of A&M?? And anything short of that is a loss on the bet?

If that's the case, you just name the amount.

ATM always overthinks their talent. 3rd or 4th is their benchmark..

I think it's fair to say their offense should be good enough to surprise a team. Joey Freshwater is good for one of those every once in a while. They certainly won't be a "bad" team, IMO.

Jesus… this is akin to a little yapper safe on the porch behind a gate barking his head off at the pack of junkyard dogs walking by.

Don’t worry stumpbreaker… your time will come. In the meantime, do you have any idea how foolish you look playing a schedule of Kansas and TCU while tossing insults at a legitimate big-boy grown-man SEC team?

the New QB - when did you ever have a old QB in the last few years

Johnny Football was a great college QB but what have you had since then

The guy you had last year couldn't do anything with the worst passing D in college football and the worst D in the entire history of LSU football - and I hear he was a 5th year senior - that's bad dude

Max will be better against UCLA than Mondie ever was at any point - book it

I wished we played aTm early before they fall out of the top 20 - but all Tiger fans love the aTm game - it is the breather we need after playing all the real SEC teams

Agree, I don't think they'll be bad at all. I've just seen them ahead of Auburn in a lot of polls and it's hurting my feelings a little bit.

I get that. To be honest, I think Auburn firing Gus when they did was a huge, huge mistake. And I said that right after it happened. Would be nice if I were wrong though, I like Auburn folks.

1. Texas A&M (11-1)
2. Alabama (11-1)
3. Ole Miss (9-3)
4. LSU (8-4)
5. Auburn (7-5)
6. Mississippi State (6-6)
7. Arkansas (5-7)

A&M will crush Bama and have a fluke loss to Ole Miss.

They should have held on. But fans are loyal and grow tired of waiting.

It'll be interesting to see who fares better: Heupel at Tennessee or Harsin at Auburn. They are in the same situation at two schools that share a lot in common.
