Do you know what the current situation is with hardy? I didn't see him on the field once on Saturday. Not that I'm at all disappointed with the play of our defensive line. I was just wondering.

Granted Lee (RS Freshmen) and Snead (RS Sophmore) are first year starters showing serious potential.

Lee is showing serious potential? He looks like a State QB back there. Hell, I'd probably put Tyson Lee over him if Tyson Lee played on LSU's team.

He is still bothered by that foot that he re-injured at Alabama, he wasn't supposed to play Saturday but we needed a serious pass rush in the fourth quarter. Hes supposed to be back close to full health this weekend but we will see.

Hes a Redshirt Freshmen playing in the SEC. He can move the ball but makes mistakes like most freshmen do. And NO Tyson Lee is not better than Jarrett Lee.

Are you basing this off of potential or actual stats?

Wes Carrol was a true freshman last year. Look what he did and the team he was on.

Look at the talent surrounding him. Of course he can move the ball.

Not on respective teams, no. But that isnt' what I posted either.

Wesly Carrol didn't do shite. He let his defense win games, he really didn't move the ball at all. He is horrible.

Sounds reasonable enough, Snead has more potential than JPW IMO but he is so inconsistent, the rest are pretty much interchangeable but only Lee and Burns have any significant upside; a bad year overall for SEC QBs

You're not kidding. Lockett is great against the run but not the pass. If his foot will heal, it will be a big lift to our secondary. Because as we have shown we can leave our corners on an island. Not giving the QB time to pick us apart will certainly help that.

Jarrett Lee is not quite as bad as some of you are making him out to be. I think he has a lot of talent. He does make a few costly mistakes a game but what redshirt freshman qb in the sec wouldn't. Here are Lee's stats for the year vs. rest of sec:

5th Passing Yards/game
3rd Passing Efficiency
6th Completion Percentage
4th TDs
T7th Ints

SEC QB STATS

So he's right in the middle of the SEC as a redshirt freshman. Not too bad IMO. Not everyone can have Sam Bradford's freshman year. His stats going into the Georgia game were better than Stafford had as a freshman or a sophmore.
