If LSU wins today I could see their RPI moving up to 7.

Agreed. In all likelihood lsu passes tex/vandy/rice with a win and is up to 7 RPI, because there is only like .0030 separating the 4.
8 at worst. We definitely passing tex/rice with a win today. Even if rice wins their game too.
So LSU will be top8 RPI (which INCLUDES sos), Top 8 in all major polls, sec tourney champs, strong finish, #3 sec RegSeason finish by a hair with effectively 2 less games played and the head-to-head over #2, and in the #1 RPI conference that has only one other national seed. no doubt IMO that LSU gets the national seed with a win today, as all the experts have been saying.
I thinks it's quite possible LSU gets #8 even after a loss today....gets a little hairier, but certainly possible at this point. I believe OM is out any way you slice it....last seed going to LSU/RiceMiami
