Since your only title; you should know how hard it is to get there. You’re 1-7 in your last 8.
Slumping.
I would slow the roll there, Chief.

Realistically, this is the only tournament LSU can win this year.
I agree lsu doesn't quite have the team to win the CWS after losing the entire starting rotation.
But claiming the only tournament they have a chance to win is the SEC tournament makes me giggle.

They kept calling that last at-bat a "routine pop fly"... It found no man's land with a quickness. It wasn't catchable unless the fielder lays out and is off at the second it's hit.
The left fielder never moved. I think he would have caught it.

Umm no. The only person with a chance was the shortstop. The left fielder had absolutely zero chance.

Do y'all really think LSU is better than Florida just because of one meaningless game?
Fascinating, if so.
Haven't seen any reason to think Florida is better than LSU after 2 games this season.

Considering Sully has gone there 6 of the last 8 I like our chances...Chief

No not at all. Not the fact that Florida has been #1 practically all season and LSU was praying they'd even make the tournament
No reason to think Florida is better than LSU

Did I even remotely say that? Or are you just making stuff up?

For the record, I'm not considering the regional a tournament.

No shot. It dropped way too quick and in no man's land. The SS had a slim chance, and he would have to be off the second it left the bat.
It took less than 5 seconds to drop

10-4. You aren't quite adept at how message board replies work. Roger that.

Yeah whatever you want to believe Francis

I played baseball in college. I've been closer to this than you ever have or ever will be. If you don't think the majority of coaches agree with me, then you're clinically retarded.

If LSU was the #1 seed locked up and losing like this in the SECT, THEY would be agreeing with you.

Yes, but the LF was playing shallow to begin with. I mean, it's hard to say but I am judging it based on how far the SS was able to run by the time it landed, compared to the distance from the LF, and the fact it's much easier to come in than go back.
It's moot though. The point is that the visibility was so bad that the LF didn't move for a ball that was hit straight at him.
ETA - 5 seconds is a 40yd dash roughly. The ball didn't land anywhere near 120 feet from the LF.

I honestly have no idea what your argument even is. Florida has had a far superior season to lsu. Literally no one has even argued that. I actually don't know what you are even trying to say. It's almost like you made an argument out of thin air.

If Tanner had put more emphasis on the SEC Tourney over the years as Mainieri has, then you'd be agreeing on the opposite.

No reason to think Florida is better than LSU
don't think even the most diehard LSU fan would say that LSU's better than UF this season
however... in the 2 head-to-head match-ups this season... UF has played their 2 absolute worst games of the season and were lucky to escape with the win in the 1st game while they're currently in serious trouble of being run ruled in the 2nd game
granted UF is without their best pitcher (Singer) and arguably their best player (Schwartz)

The LF had zero chance at that. Go watch the replay. He'd have been lucky to get within 15 feet. Now SS....maybe.
Really doesn't matter though
Route was already on.
