Well lsu has outplayed Florida for sure. But probably only to about a 4-1 score. The rest was simply poor play from Florida. Also the fog cost them 2 runs. But that is only the difference from 8-0 versus 10-0. And frankly I'm not sure the flare that dropped is caught regardless of fog.

They kept calling that last at-bat a "routine pop fly"... It found no man's land with a quickness. It wasn't catchable unless the fielder lays out and is off at the second it's hit.

I'm glad we lost.
LSU needed to win to get in to the tourney. We were already safely in. Now both of us are. Would you be torn if LSU went home after they already secured a spot?
Or would you, like everyone else, say "well that sucks, but on to the real tournament"

No, it's not. Tournament is useless. LSU looks like a bag of arse this season and they'll be treated accordingly when it comes to regional decisions. UF has looked like one of the best teams in the nation this season and that will be treated accordingly for regionals.
This is a joke. No one cares about a tournament whose sole purpose is to pile as many games as possible into a few days. And this fog delay, while trying to play at midnight, with one of your teams that started play back around 10am just makes the conference look like amateur hour nonsense.
There are two things the SEC does that have never made sense: the basketball tournament and the baseball tournament. If the baseball tournament was such a great thing with such a great format, why does the softball tournament not follow it?
Florida dominated the regular season in both sports this year. In softball they played a single elimination tourney, one game per day, and won it in 3 games. Compare that to the abomination going on right now.
This tournament is a joke.

Realistically, this is the only tournament LSU can win this year.
But, good momentum from the SECT can carry through to the NCAAT. LSU certainly has done it before.
