Are there any rules to how late they will start a game?
IF the game get's postponed do I use my tickets for tonight's session tomorrow?

I had turned it off but apparently guy was out by a mile and slid late right at our guy's ankle.
It was dirty. Spikes to the ankle.

that's like the first baseman standing in the middle of the bag and getting stepped on and calling it dirty

Nope. Good try though.

yep. head of umpires came and explained the entire thing. If a 2nd baseman just sat in the baseline like that with a guy sliding in you'd think nothing of it. Exact same situation at home dumbass. its the catcher's responsibility to avoid contact. not the runners
Posted on 5/24/18 at 3:08 pm to SoFunnyItsNot
So you think he was sitting in the basepath? OK
Posted on 5/24/18 at 3:09 pm to hogminer
I don't think it. I know it

bullshite. I watched it and he brought his spikes up to catch his leg as the catcher stepping towards 1st base with his lead foot. Its not an illegal play but it dirty.

It wasn’t illegal, but it was definitely a slide you’d expect to be answered with an earhole at the next opportunity

Was this Auburn guy involved in some questionable baserunning or sliding last year? Like stepping on a 1B ankle or something?
Am I mis-remembering?

My memory is hazy and I'm about as loopy as a hit dog right now
If you don't want to get spiked, practice a crow-hop and play in the outfield you fairies.

Didn't he get his foot stepped on by LSU? Maybe?

LSU has truly been gifted some runs this tournament.. not complaining
Honestly its been an extremely sloppy tournament overall

Jesus the guy walks 2 in the first but instead of working the count lets all go try to kill the first pitch and go down in FIVE pitches...pathetic approach there

Found it. Was this the same guy that stepped on Coomes for LSU last year? That was dirty as hell

Posted on 5/24/18 at 4:05 pm to Vecchio Cane
quote:I think he got spiked by a guy trying to score from 2nd rounding the bases, or stealing 3rd on a hard slide. Who cares. Holland the AU SS has six stitches from the first inning yesterday. He gave a frick you to OM by hitting a dinger in the bottom of the first.
Didn't he get his foot stepped on by LSU? Maybe?
That's competitive baseball. OM should try it instead of pulling an FSU jr. every year when the stakes get higher.
