Good Lord Bowl....

I just spit bourbon all over my computer screen, the good stuff too. damn!

you and pio both have more BB knowledge than anyone I know on here, including myself.

But, winning the SEC tourney does nothing for NCAA seeding period. and fresh legs matter in the ncaa.

I am still LOL'ing!

Florida will win it

Kentucky or Tenner will win it, but my money is on UK. They are playing much better and have started to finally gel and work together.

I know quite a bit about basketball, matchups, zones, the differences between various forwards, guards, and how the Center position has disappeared from so many teams, scoring, shot clocks, screens...

I get hung up on the screen rules often, and how some things are called fouls in this conference which seem unbelievable at times.

But I don't have the knowledge of pio, and several others on our board.

Baseball I have very little knowledge of. Havent played since junior high.

Football I follow in many ways. Tennis... I KNOW lol...

Yeah thats true. Plus if were being real you've probably been watching basketball longer than I've been alive. I mean, when you registered your account in Oct 2005, I was in my 1st semester of my freshman year of HS.

And Auburn is about to be in the NCAAT for the 1st time since 2003. In Spring 20003 I was in 6th grade, and I very clearly remember watching Auburn's 1st round game vs St. Joes on TV at school in my homeroom class during "Flip out Friday" and the game was interuppted as every channel went live as the US began bombing Baghdad for the first time. And even though that was kind of cool to watch live at 11 years old, the coolness was overridden by the fact that I was PISSED that I didn't get to see the end of the game and watch AU win. Then I went out in the hall and played "Big Booty" with the hot popular girls, followed by a few rounds of Mums the Word because 6th grade was dope af like that.

That was the last time AU was in the NCAAT. From 6th grade, 11 yrs old, and Day 1 of the invasion of Baghdad then cut ALLLLL the way to 2018, I'm 26 years old and already started my career.

I've waited literally over half my life to watch my team get back to this point. Even got robbed of an appearance in 2009 just to add to the pain. Do you know what that's like?

Tbh I don't think Bruce would be upset to get bumped from the SECT early. Most college coaches will openly admit that when you are already a lock for the NCAAT, its beneficial to go home early. Winning your conference tournament hurts your NCAAT chances because it gives you very little time to rest and prepare, you'll only have a couple days before you're traveling and playing again.
