Man shutting out UTEP was some feat by the Vols.

Our offense has not been tested but our defense was at Ole Miss and they passed with flying colors. After the first play we totally and completely shut Ole Miss and their NFL receivers down.
Ole Miss will score a whole bunch of points this season. I'm guessing they won't have many outings where they have under 300 yards and less than 10 points.

Scoring defense is the most important.

Look, Ole Miss's oline is garbage dude. Like Straight up. Congrats, they pass well, but not when you have a Dline worth a damn.

I can smell the fear in this thread. One of you lucky fanbases will suffer defeat by Rebel hands.

Did you mean to post this on the Sun Belt board?

It's way too early to look at these rankings. Why? Because teams like LSU have played two top 10 teams and teams like Bama have played scrubs.

Well, we'll see how they perform the next few weeks. I'm guessing they don't go out and score 7 points and have less than 300 yards too often. LSU is their only other opponent I see possibly doing that.
Those receivers are so good and Ta'amu's deep ball is so good all they need are 2-3 clean pockets a game and they can score 21 pts against a team with a so-so secondary.
So, again, acting like they suck on offense is just stupid. They have holes, but they also have elite players and are gonna put up massive numbers quite often this season.

Vandy played a Notre Dame team allergic to scoring, Nevada and MTSU.
I'm glad for the Dores, but come on.

correct, they've played teams who are at least recently known for having pretty damn good offensive production, right?

Tennessee's next 5 opponents
Florida
Georgia
Auburn
Alabama
South Carolina
I'd worry about not going 0-8 again buddy. This is the last week anyone talks about UT outside of if they cover the +20 spread.
