From the context of opposing offenses, neither has LSU.

Average compared to what?

They would be win-less int he SEC. Well maybe the beat Arkansas.

Thats why you don't tout stats from directional schools.

Who is talking about winning games. We're talking about offense. Arkansas State's offense would be a lower third offense in the SEC, probably.

That's the point.

Not if they were in the SEC. They are in the Sun Belt and play poop teams.

Thats the point.

I don't know if you've noticed, but there are poop teams in the SEC.

Arkansas State scored 36 points and had 497 yards @ Nebraska last season

Arkansas State scored 32 points and had 606 yards vs Troy last season (remember that poopy team?)

So, yea, it's reasonable for them to be included with the bottom 1/3 offenses in the SEC.

App State scored 38 points and put 451 yards against Penn State. Penn State has given up 16 points and 521 yards in 2 full games since then.

So, yea, maybe Appy is pretty good on offense. Your point?

No its not. They would have a solid chance at beating Arkansas this year. Thats about it. They simply dont have the talent any of the SEC teams do.

You just can't make that case.

Pointing out that directional schools upset power 5 teams some years is meaningless. Just like Saban should have never lost to LA Monroe. But he did.

No, we're just not all RABBLE RABBLE TEAM I HATE SUCKS STATS ARE DUMB people.

Alabama's offense hasn't played a defense with a pulse yet. That is 100% true.

It's stupid to say the same thing about our defense.

Why do you keep talking about "beating" other teams? I didn't say they were a bottom 1/3 TEAM I said they were a bottom 1/3 OFFENSE. I think their offense is every bit as good as Arkansas, Florida and probably Vanderbilt. Maybe Tennessee.

Their defense stinks.

Again, I didn't even post scores. I posted offensive output. You keep weaving back in and out between offensive rankings and how good a team is. This thread is about TOTAL DEFENSE so we are discussing OPPOSING OFFENSES, not how good a team is.

The point is, which you have trouble grasping, is when you play in a league that is of higher quality your stats go down.

Like, for instance, LSU played the hardest and best D's to this point.
