Georgia-Stanford would be a fun game. From what I've seen, Georgia can play good run D for 20-30 minutes. Could they build a big enough lead in that window to hang on to the lead when Stanford came roaring back?

Hooo, boy, this is about as close to a push as it gets for me.

frick it, I can't decide. Toss up. Slight edge to Stanford, if anything.

Depends on when the game is played.

Regular season game....Oregon wins

Nat Championship.....
1. with a month of saban preparation
Plus
2. a month off for Oregon to lose its offensive rhythm

Equals a win for Bama.

I agree with this.

Bama and Georgia both get beat (not a maybe).

SC and LSU games would be close, but I think both would be favored to win.

A&M wins their game.

Oregon who plays very good defense this year, is best team in the country hands down with Stanford not too far behind.

Most likely to lose:
UGA (although you could flip a coin), SC

I can see Oregon stopping any of does SEC offenses. I trust Bama, UGA, LSD and Carolina to make timely stops on the Ducks offense.

As a fan I think better matchups I'd like to see would be

Bama vs Stanford
UGA vs Oregon
Texas A and M vs washington
LSU vs UCLA
SCAR vs AZ State
