Arkansas has had numerous chances to have a statement win in this early season and has
Yet to do it. Not impressed with them at all

Arkansas has lost to Arizona State and Wisconsin, both are less than stellar teams
Wisconsin was ranked 24th when we played them dumbass
Arizona State is 10-2 right now
Our other two losses were to top 5 teams

Sorry for playing tough teams
I guess we should do what every other SEC team is doing and play cupcakes, right?

Who cares if you play tough teams if you can never beat them.

And Arkansas was ranked #8 when Louisiana Monroe played them
What good does previous rankings do when the current rankings show that the ranking was a fraud?

The argument was about Ole Miss being better. Ole Miss doesn't have a good win either. That leaves looking at the loses. Ole Miss losing to ISU is a much worse loss than anything that we have. ISU is terrible.

As someone who dabbles in Bracketology every year, I am seeing 3 teams right now. Missouri, Florida, and another team that could step up. But Missouri and Florida are the only sure things right now. The non conference wins are not there
With the strength of the Missouri Valley, Atlantic 10, and Mountain West this season, those leagues will all get a lot of bids which means less will be up for grabs from the power 6 conferences.
I could see the Mountain West getting 5 bids as of today, and Missouri Valley could easily get 4.

Rutgers is a better win than any of the wins Arky has IMO.
The problem is that most of Arky's wins are against some of the worst teams in college basketball with the exception of Oklahoma, Robert Morris, and hell even Sam Houston St isn't god awful. Everyone else is complete garbage. But hey, your losses are cool right?

Kentucky will make the dance, without a doubt.

I agree, but some teams have better shots than others. Nobody really in the SEC has marquee OOC wins besides UF and Mizzou. Everyone else will have to depend on conference play and that may get interesting.
I could honestly see a 5,6,7, or 8 seed possibly winning the SECT this year and earning an auto-bid. The SEC is just that bad this year.

I don't think that's a better win than Robert Morris, they're both decent teams, about it.
The problem is, Rutgers is Ole Miss' only decent win. We have 2 other decent wins. Then add in that they lost to ISU, which is a crap team.

Oklahoma is pretty bad, they lost at home to Stephen F. Austin the other night
Big 12 is down this year. Kansas is good, Kansas State and Oklahoma State could be good. Baylor has disappointed. West Virginia and Texas are in rebuilding mode. Iowa State is average, Oklahoma, Texas Tech and TCU flat out suck. Texas Tech and TCU I think are the two worst power conferece teams in the country, and they are in the same league.

If you think Robert Morris is a bad team than you don't know much about NCAA basketball. They are better than 75% of the sec.

It seems both could be true.

When did I say they were a bad team?

Tournament Teams: Florida, Missouri and Kentucky
NIT Teams: Arkansas, Alabama, LSU/Ole Miss
Shitty Teams: everyone else

No team is a lock in our conference
IMO
Tourney: Florida, Missouri, Kentucky, Arkansas, Ole Miss
NIT: Alabama, LSU
The SEC will have more than 3/14 teams in the tourney. Mathematically there will be too many in conference records to leave out. Arkansas has one of the toughest SOS in the nation right now, and that will not be hurt that bad by playing Mizzou 2x, Kentucky, Florida 2x, and Ole Miss.
I think in the end we will get 4-5 in the dance but that is it.
