I'll be honest. I have played and watched baseball my entire lift. I still get confused on balks and what is a swing or not when you try to pull back/hold up.

Me too especially the balk.
Swing is supposed to do with wrists isn't it? Seems like it would be one of the hardest calls to make in real time to me.
