I’ve never loved that State’s visitor seating is on the side that the TV camera faces. It either looks like a super empty stadium when the visitor fans don’t travel well or looks like a takeover when they do.

What are the rules regarding seating for the home team's band and the students?

It's 8 percent of the stadiums seating capacity. If you seat 90K you would give at a minimum around 9000 seats.

If you are Vandy they allow the visitors 90 percent of the seating capacity.

In all seriousness the Rock M is still there. It's just sort of a running joke between Mizzou fans because so many thought our south endzone renovations from a few years ago were going to bring an end to the Rock M. Alas, the M is on the north end and was never in any danger.

There are no new renovations to Faurot this year that I know of, but we do have a fancy new indoor practice facility just SW of the stadium that'll be complete this summer.

I wonder if Texas is bringing the whole Show Band of the Southwest to Tuscaloosa this fall? It's a huge band. Texas A&M takes their full band to a lot of away games. It's been impressive since they joined the league. All original SEC members just seem to take their entire marching bands to 1 away game a season.
