Has anyone here attended a SEC school that you don't root for and why? Have seen some people state that they have a degree from one school but still chose to root for another one.

What kind of sidewalking low-life would do such a thing?

This must be a troll of some sorts.

I know several Auburn graduates that were and are big-time Bama fans.

I know one Bama graduate (sister-in-law) that is an Auburn fan.

OTOH, several of my HS friends were big Bama fans but saw the light when they went to Auburn.

Saw a few talking about this in other threads. Some grew up a fan of an SEC school and the fact that they attended another school from the SEC didn't change any of that.

I went to A&M, but I like women.

Does that count?

Seems like I have seen this more in relation to Auburn and Bama

Yeah it's fairly common because of grad schools.

I know several of these both ways. Funny they often turn into the biggest douches.

Bama and Auburn are like our pro teams. The rivalry is intense and you kinda have to pick one as a kid but then you grow up and have to make a life decision. Some switch and some don't.

My dad grew up Aubie, but ended up at UA for their ROTC program and then med school. Now he's the biggest Gump you've ever seen

It is always interesting to see that kind of stuff. One of buddies from Arkansas is currently at LSU in grad school.

I think that is actually fairly normal for what it is worth but it seems some actually hate the school they attended, which I can't understand.

Grew up a Gamecocks fan since I started caring about college sports (probably 12 years old - year 2000)

Only applied to USC during high school. early acceptance in October 2005.

Graduated in 2010.

Still live in Columbia.

Still love the Gamecocks.

And yes, no matter how much any of you love to bring up our abysmal history. At least I'm not a sidewalk fan.
