We look more like an SEC team this year than we have at any point since we joined.

It blew my mind when I saw A&M only actually sacked Allen once.

Considering our repeated displays of incompetent playcalling, a suspect OL, a virtually non-existent passing game, and having faced teams that are currently ranked #9 (Clemson), #18 (LSU) and #25 (TAMU) in rushing defense YPA, we've done much better than I expected. Wonder how we'd be doing if we hadn't run off three of our top 4 RBs from last year.

Good news is, we have four teams left on our 2016 schedule that are ranked #108 or worse in rushing defense YPA, plus an FCS team ranked in the 90s in that category. So our numbers should improve significantly.

I was aware of it the whole game, because it was maddening how he would release the ball the instant before getting planted, and the result was typically a converted 3rd and long. I kept thinking, "OK, this has got to start rattling him.", but it never happened.

Allen has a bright future ahead of him.
