For rushing stats, half a yard per carry is pretty big. I feel like you're not too knowledgeable about football statistics.
Last year the 20th best rushing attack was at 5.0 yards per carry (texas).
Half a yard less than that was Mizzou at 50th.
This isn't a Tennessee ding. They were second in the SEC in rushing per attempt last year at 5.4 yards per carry. LSU was first at 6.2... aided by a QB who put up a lot of rushing stats.
And the sample size is the same... two games.
UGA just ran half as often in those two games. That's because UGA doesn't rush to the line to run a lot of plays. UGA is 107th in the nation in offensive plays run per game. That's not the bottom of the SEC by far... Vandy, UF, MSU, UK and Auburn all run fewer. But UGA runs 60 plays per game while UTk runs 78, Mizzou runs 80 and Arky runs 81.
UGA will go up-temp when they need to. But they won't do it just to pad stats like some teams do.

I know I'm an SEC noob, but it's good to know the perennial SEC bottom feeder still have some legit chops. Anchor down! Or up! Whatever
