I think its fair to say that Boom Williams won't be overtaking Ralph Webb this week.

Idk, Aggy is good at finding holes. Especially around cocks.

Fournette missed an entire game. As hampered as he's been with the ankle injury, I'm surprised he has that many yards.
He actually leads in ypg. If he can get to 90%, which seems questionable at present, he will likely lead the SEC in ypg in spite of playing with a serious injury. Currently a game-time decision for playing against Mizzou according to Coach Orgeron.

Not true! He is tied for the lead in one category:
Fumbles -- SEC RB
Leonard Fournette Louisiana State Tigers RB 2
Alvin Kamara Tennessee Volunteers RB 2
Damarea Crockett Missouri Tigers RB 2

And thats with missing a game
He would lead it without missing that game

It really would be nice to have a code or pre tag for the forums. Chicken?!

if you wanted a real meaningful list, shouldnt TD be the main factor?
dont matter if you have 1000 yards if your team cant score a td with you.

It is certainly a meaningful stat for Rbs, but nobody ever uses that as the main criteria. Not in pro or college (unless you are talking fantasy football).

Cherry picking?
The NCAA crowns it's annual rushing champion using yards per game (which Fournette won last year btw). Not sure how using YPG would be considered "cherry picking" stats.

This is actually fun to a degree. In truth we have no idea what the rest of the year is going to be like. With no high expectations anymore, we could come out, play loose and do great. Or we could see more of the same from the first 4 games. All this debating is conjecture at best. =)

I feel like that's what the rant is for, or at least should be. We learn a lot about the morale of LSU players this weekend. It will be interesting either way.
