Yep because they were a lot younger D
Now do you see my point yet? Where they were drafted had nothing to do with talent, Eddie Lacy was one of the most talented backs in the SEC the last 2 years and because of a bad agent and medical issues where did he get drafted
Draft position =/= talent

He also had the best offensive line every year he took a hand off.

If our O is in the 30's. We win it all. I don't think we need the O that good to win it all. I think an O around 50 would be enough

No
Bama had LESS JRs and SRs on D, we had the most talented DB in the country, was a JR left
Arguably the most talented MLB in the country, was a JR stayed
Everyone else you saw on the 2012 D that was just as talented was a Soph or TF

Yeseaahhhh
Yes
Why wasn't Pat Willis the #1 overall player drafted?
Talent never determines draft status there are a lot more factors than that

quote:Saban has a way of fielding an offense that eats up the clock, drains the opponents defense, scores points and therefore keeps his own defense rested.
LSU had guys drafted in the 1st,2nd,3rd, and 5th rounds. Correct me if i'm mistaken. But Bama only had 1 defensive draft pick in the 1st? And the next highest position was in the 4th?
It's tough to consistantly keep your team in championship contention when you don't have both the offense and the defense clickin on all cylinders. Saban understands this and has planned accordingly.

Like Vontaze Burfict and Arian Foster?
Yeah those 2's situations and attitude, where they played offenses etc all had NOOOOTHING to do with them not being drafted, that was strictly from a talent standpoint

Then why did you ask the OP question? Put in whoever you think is best. A bit disingenuous.
