Fear that a sleeping giant has awakened. If we had no chance of making a real impact in the SEC then nobody would care.

I think that most on here give ya hell because a good portion of the fanbase is so easy to spin up. I have tons of friends that are Arky fans and are great people. I usually pull for Arky alot of the time.

I agree 100%, Arky would be the next to move up.
I agree, was talking about this today and pretty much agree we're currently 6th from bottom. Bear in mind though, those types of rankings/respect is fluid and can change in just a few short years.
In sum, if we want to move up, win more games.

Looking back, when Arkansas joined the SEC it was not prepared to compete in football. The facilities, the players and coaching were subpar. Crowe was a short lived disaster. Danny Ford never had any fire, he was simply padding his retirement. Hootie had some good years but never brought home the hardware, never consistently recruited well.
There is hope with Petrino, now we have to see whether he can field a defense that can stop a Pop Warner team.

I can agree with most of that. Although I don't really see us on the same level as SC. I mean, they never even been to an SEC Championship game. I know we only lose when we go, but we've still been. Not trying to start shite with SC fans, because I really don't give a shite. Just asking.
