If I’m ranking the SEC after week 1…

Tier 1
1. Georgia
2. Texas
3. Alabama

Tier 2
4. Tennessee
5. Ole Miss
6. LSU (could change after tonight)
7. Missouri
8. Oklahoma
9. Auburn
10. Texas A&M
11. Kentucky

Tier 3
12. Arkansas
13. South Carolina
14. Florida
15. Mississippi State
16. Vanderbilt

I'd put Bama in tier 3 and move Tennessee to Tier 2

TX & TN have very similar SEC schedules

Different Games
TN @ GA, vs AL, @ OU
TX vs GA, @ A&M, vs OU (Dallas)

Same Exact Schedule
@ Arkansas
@ Vanderbilt
vs Florida
vs Kentucky
vs Miss State

I’m not sure I noticed that before.

Could be an interesting tiebreaker at 10-2 depending on the losses.. This is where playing Michigan might help Texas this year, win or lose, as long as it’s 2 losses total or less.

9-3 likely doesn’t make it this year unless it’s someone like OU with a brutal schedule

Bama fans are still complaining about that 2022 Tennessee game.

No one is ranking Ole Miss as high as SEC homers.

*checks rankings*

Yup, just SEC homers have Ole Miss ranked in the top 6 nationally.
