Wilson is an average stoops QB, which was my original point. He’s going to be mediocre, not great but not horrible. Nothing he’s done has proven otherwise.

And Ive watched every single Kentucky game this year and generally watch most of their games every year like I have since I was a little kid. I’ve seen great QBs go through UK like couch and lorenzen. There’s not a single data point in stoops time as head coach of UK that says he can develop a QB.

QB's with two top ten wins and neither at home...
1. Burrow, LSU

...end of list.

nuff said, all others STFU...

Well got to give the guy a chance. First year starter on a new team, while playing a much tougher schedule than Fitzgerald so far. We'll find out how they compare when they play head to head this year.

If you can't see that they coached Stephen Johnson to his ceiling (quite literally given how banged up he was post-career), I'm not sure what to tell you.

This is also the first time since he's been at UK he's had an OC stay multiple years. It's no coincidence Stephen Johnson's improvement came along with that.

Also Wilson is in his third game of his SEC career of his sophomore year (as a transfer). The fact that you're already declaring he won't be more than mediocre is hilarious.

I mean, he’s a step up from the previous but I won’t hold my breath that he’ll improve. Trust me, I want Kentucky to do well(minus our game) but Kentucky is going to win games with a run game and a good defense.

He's already improved from Game 1 to Game 3.

Also, nobody said the focus of our offense will get away from the run game either. He's an intricate part of that given he's been contributing significant rushing totals at QB himself.

Whoever plays UK from here on out will find out about Wilson. I thought Hoak would start against UF from the looks of the first UK game against Central Michigan..but I was wrong. He is slippery as an oil slick and their counters and reverses will drive you to drink. Cowbells, Dawgs Mizzou Tigers and Cocks are on notice.

If he breaks a 150 average by the end of the year, I will gladly eat crow.
