Curious what your basing this "better than McCarron off of. Last time I checked,he hadn't played a down of SEC football. Not a knock on the dude, but let him prove it on the field in a real conference first

Wrong.

That's about where I would have it right now. We'll see how season pans out. Looks like Connor is going to have his work cut out for him though, for sure.

Won every game he started save one and put the team in position to win that one. He did what was asked of him by the coaching staff and rarely if ever did he try to do too much or make poor decisions Finished the year with around 63% completion rate. All this as a soph starting his first season. I believe we will keep him and I believe we will continue to win with him.

Like I said, he takes the next step in 2012. He has a more QB friendly OC. He has the right pieces in front of him to put up better numbers.

I can see it happening if your wr step up.

Actually on Nov.5th he played shitty. Less than 50% completion and take away his passes to TRich he had 120 yards passing and a very crucial int that let LSU tie it up. Hey JJ/JLee won every game too save one. We're they good?

Somewhere between Aaron Rodgers and Andrew Luck.

Using LSU fan logic he's better than Ryan Tannhill who he couldn't beat out last year. The 3rd string QB is the best

What amazes me is that Mizzou fans bash us for putting Mett in the top 5 and without blinking an eye are willing to put JFF in the top 5 in a new conference coming off an injury.

JFF isn't James Franklin, it's Johnny F'ing Football, aka Johnny Manziel, aka BarFight Cam, and A&M's starting QB.

Johnny Manziel has been known as Johnny frickin Football since he was in HS in Texas.

Sr yr he was Parade 1st Team AA. Coaches National POY. Had (by memory) 40 passing TDs to 3 ints (one on a hail Mary one on dropped pass) and 35 rushing TDs to go with a kick return for TD and a TD reception. He was also the teams punter.

Led his team deep in the playoffs in 4A ball as the only DI athlete on his team.

He is the most interesting college football player in the world.
