And for the inevitable posts about sour grapes..the reason that najee, tua, and the other stud 5* freshmen were even playing against us is because we held them to literally zero points at half. Against Oklahoma Jalen probably would have at least looked somewhat competent therefore no freshmen. Bama wouldn't have been able to stop ou for 4 quarters
You can thank Stinkin Riley for that game. He short kicked right before half and that allowed GA to kick a FG. Unforgivable.

Fine OU players, but first year idiot HC and worse DC.
UGA rans some base running plays for huge yardage because the defenders and the DC could not get together on pre-snap positions.
Even with the crap defense, OU had a good chance to put the game away (up 7 with less than half a quarter to play at their own 40+). The pansy HC that was/is supposed to be an offensive guru ran three times and punted rather than have the Heisman winner pass to get a first down.
UGA won and scoreboard counts. The OU players deserved better coaching that year.

And a majority of that team was Bob Stoops players. It was also the peak of Riley and only went downhill every year after until he snaked out in wee hours.
There were so many times in that game we could have done something different and won. Riley went in a prevent type shell in second half for the most part.
And yes, it was an all time great game evwn though we lost. Georgia coach was so much smarter than Riley and he got the most out of his team, opposite of Riley. Credit to them. Nothing but respect as they didn’t fold when OU was rolling. Even in OT when Riley went for FG vice TD or first down I knew then it was over.
