This year, probably right. The last 30 years? Sixteen titles won by six different teams.
Tennessee 1 title
Auburn played for 2, 1 title
Florida played for 4, won 3
LSU played for 4, won 3
Alabama played for 8, won 6
Georgia played for 3, won 2
No other conference can or will match that. Enjoy our misery, but it won't last.

What the conference accomplished in the past 20 years will never be seen again by any conference, especially in this playoff format and NIL/portal era
I dont think I will ever understand how the QB and WR play in the conference was so appalling this year. The difference maker between it being multiple SEC teams in the semis and what we saw play out
After watching OSU these past few weeks, I am not going to give shite to anyone who got smoked by them. Their squad looks like the best CFB team since the 2021/2022 UGA teams. They probably played a C+ game against Texas yesterday (I would give Texas a B or B+) and still won.

Easy to drop a game when your team comes off a big win. Texas beat Florida while Florida had to play a third string QB from Yale. Kentucky and Vandy took Texas to the 4th quarter. OU played a completely different offense against Texas vs the end of the season. The fact is Texas had 0 ranked wins before beating scrub playoff teams.
