So are you saying Bama has to cheat when playing outside of conference? because bama ALWAYS has more penalties when playing out of conference opponents with "neutral" refs.

Maybe those refs are cheating for the OOC team.

Y'all are missing the real point of the OP:
quote:

Year / SEC Rank
2002 / 12

EVERYONE - even the SEC refs - hated Fran.

Bamas OL has been too damn good as it is without help from refs throwing flags for holding...which we all know that Bama does not ever ever ever do.

I think a sure fire to insure bias is eliminated 100% is to surprise strip search them at some away game...oh say Mizzou or UK and see which refs have script A's tatted on their backsides.

I'm curious to see what Les Miles' rank is on penalties as the LSU coach (2005 - 2011).
well we know it's not #1

Instead of the god of just the ref, let's see a gif of the play and the ref
this has been hashed out. there is no circumstance when it's ok to do what the ref did. there was a really long thread about it.

you must have missed the stats in the op. that's not a case of the brain making something up. it's clearly shady

I have no doubt that Saban and his staff teach our players how to draw penalties because it is to our advantage to do so. For example, they could teach defensive lineman a certain technique with their hands inside that is equally effective while making holding calls more evident.
this is known as verbal gymnastics
