BATON ROUGE -- LSU quarterback Zach Mettenberger earned Southeastern Conference Offensive Player of the Week after leading the Tigers to the highest point total against an SEC opponent in 16 years.
Mettenberger completed 25-of-29 passes for 340 yards and two touchdowns. The 25 completions were the most by an LSU quarterback since Rohan Davey had 31 in the 2002 Sugar Bowl.
No. 10 LSU scored a 59-26 victory over Mississippi State including a 31-3 advantage in the second half. The 59 points was the most by an LSU side since scoring 63 at Kentucky in 1997.

Guy has been on point this year. Cam has done a hell of a job with the guy and with play calling.
The only thing I am interested in seeing is how well Mettenberger will perform against a top flight pass rush. LSU's Oline has kept him clean, but the guy doesn't have the nimblest of feet.
I hope he does great in every game except against UA.
