Your point is spot on! So, to your point and to the fact that the SEC is in only three top 25 television markets (Atlanta, St. Louis and Houston) is ESPN taking a risk?
DFW is a top 5 media market...

Where is the article about them having 100% distribution and when is is dated?

When you googled "Longhorn Network Distribution" and posted your arbitrary article, check the date in which it was published. Your article, the one you just published, is almost a year old. To my point: lets say the Longhorn Network is still only available to 13% of the homes in Austin, how does that give you any more confidence that the SEC Network will be successful?
In the second sentence of your OP, you listed it as fact, dipshit.
After reading the second sentence, I stopped reading right there. You clearly don't have command of the facts, so this thread is useless. Moreover, comparing the LHN to the SEC Network is comparing apples to oranges.

SEC states have more tv households than any other conference.
Look it up...TV by the numbers.
Regardless, this thead is silly: everyone knows the SECnw is gonna be a huge and easy success for 2 reasons: lots of inventory and lots of households. The SEC nw is a lot more comparable to the Big10nw (than the LHN and NFLnw) but with better and more inventory.

Fact: it wasn't until a year or so ago that that the network achieved 100% distribution in the city of Austin.

U won't. As long as you live in an SEC state, it'll be on all basic expanded cable lineups. Outside the SEC states it'll be on somelineups and available with the sport tier on some providers.
Eventually your cable bill will go up a couple bucks tho

Does the SEC have more tv households than the NFL Network?
Again, a better comparison is the B10 network, not the NFLnw.
Don't worry, the SEC nw is gonna be a major cash cow for espn and the SEC, trust me.

There are estimates of 1 dollar a month the first year then 3 dollars the third year but no one knows and neither ESPN nor the SEC are telling as it's likely not been hashed out for subscribers (esp, since cable companies will have a hand in that).
More than likely though various providers will package the network with various other packages you choose from and as a major bonus -- no more PPV games. Worst case scenario, you pay 3 bucks a month and it's still less than ONE PPV game.
Also our current SEC Network, despite being much different that the newer one, already reaches 50 percent of households in the US.

Yu don't seem to be getting it even though multiple people have pointed out to you: inventory.
SEC nw will have 80% of all SEC football games available to broadcast, after taking out the CBS games.
That's an unprecedented amount of inventory available for a conference network. And furthermore, it means it's not "crap" inventory. There are going to be a lot of "primetime" SEC games on the SECnw, especially in the early years. Expect 3 games every Saturday on the SEC nw.

The SECN will have a lot more inventory than the NFLN. The SECN will be able to show any SEC game every week except the CBS game. The SECN will have similar success as the BTN, which has had good success.

Presuming your local cable company agrees to carry the network.
If you've ever lived in a SEC state, you would know that it won't take long before the SECN is available in every SEC state (all of Texas could be an exception).
