They obviously had to exclude a few teams, but why did they choose the two they did? Georgia Tech made it, why not UGA?

Seems like they weren't afraid to double or triple the coverage area, so why leave out UGA?

The teams are done alphabetically. There is no reason other than there are a crap load of teams that begin with an "A" and a handful that begin with a "G". It's not a slight to UGA, it's just putting a team there to move on to the next letter in the alphabet..

There are actually quite a few curious omissions: Oregon, Boise State, Stanford, USC, and Virginia Tech all come to mind.
Since this is obviously a football-only display piece, I was very surprised to see Vandy make it and not UGA.
