Since then...Saban is 4-2 against miles.

If that makes you feel better, fine. My point is he has proven that he can beat Saban.

that LSU game was a crushing loss for them though.

I look at that one for Alabama like I look at LSU's loss to Florida in 2008. That was the moment the team's season went south. Frankly if 2008 Alabama had played Florida earlier in the year they would have crumbled after that assfricking too

Miles is a good coach, but not a great coach. He'll never win another national title at lsu or at any school for that matter.

Saban isn't going to win it every year. What coaches are "great" and will win titles soon? Cause saban is the only guy on my list

He literally brought that program back from the cellar and Miles continued the success.

some of you fans say this like LSU fans don't realize this

it'd be idiotic to think Saban didn't save the program

need I remind you the only BCS national champion to not win their own conference?

So. And LSU is the only team to win a BCS championship without winning the AP national championship.

2008 alabama did not get "assfricked" by florida in any shape, form, or fashion. The game was in doubt well into the 4th qtr. Tebow made some miracle throws and pulled out the victory.

Bama started that game out strong and then just got beaten as the game progressed. Even Saban said that much afterwards. And certainly the loss took the heart out of the team (judging by that terrible performance against Utah).

Sometimes getting taken down is a good thing though - certainly that 2009 Alabama team was a remarkable team that deserved everything they achieved.

So Bama was beat physically, and was worn down by the 4th quarter.

My point was the 2007 and 2011 teams both deserving of their championships, regardless of the fact that one lost two games and the other didn't win their conference.

What does it matter? Florida took three assbeatings from Alabama after that.

LSU - 7 -Only 2 from 1966-2000

Damn, they must really love the guy who showed up in 2000 and saved their program.

Why yesssssssss! Considering the fact that LSU had """""" T E N """""""" top Top 10 finishes in the final rankings from 1958 - 1999;
And FOUR from '66-'99, NOT TWO. Whoever wrote that is just an imbecile or just out and out making up shite:

Year-Final Ranking
1958 - 1
1959 - 3
1961 - 4
1962 - 7
1965 - 8
FOUR Top Ten from 1966-1999, not two:
1969 - 10
1970 - 7
1986 - 10
1987 - 5

LSU also, from 1958-1999 had 20 top twenty teams, 16 top fifteen teams, and 26 bowl teams.

All
"""""""""" B E F O R E """"""""""
Saban's happy arse landed in Baton Rouge.....

Honestly the whole quip about LSU fans not thinking football existed before 2000 has always mystified me. So the 90s sucked, it's not like we've had good teams or great players before then. Sure we weren't racking up Championships every year, but we've traditionally been a fairly good program.

Upset that you are a douche? No, douche away unabated. Are you mad for getting called out for being a douche? It seems so.

That's because some of your fans don't realize this or never acknowledge the fact.
