The P4 conferences are united in not accepting pro players. Maybe you can convince the Twelve?

LSU won’t have any pro players next season.

This season. You won’t be a member of the SEC much longer

That’s what I was trying to say. Other conferences won’t have to worry about LSU having professional players after this season.

Sankey ruled unfit to lead…his incompetency was on full display today…

Can't believe they're going to oust Sankey so quick. Other school presidents had to be choking when listening to Sankey testify.

bullshite. It was brought on for two reasons. Chambliss would have made less money in the NFL. OM didn't have a qb so a crooked judge ruled for the crooked judge's team to have a qb.

I thought it was because of swollen tonsils.

Damn, you Bama nut sack suckers are so ignorant. Do you really honestly think that LSU is gonna get put out of the SEC? A founding member of the SEC is going to get put out of the SEC because Sankey hates Kiffin and is stomping his feet like a little bitch...He can't even testify without contradicting and embarrassing himself. Can't come up with the definition of a professional player....really?
You Gumps are one weird, bunch. You're gonna have to play us, Sankey is not gonna save you.

I mean no.

But I also didn't think LSU would keep perusing this thing in the courts after 15 of the other schools decided against it either.

And yet here we are.

Read it one more time: LSU has not, at any time, pursued anything in court over this. LSU, has not, played any ineligible players.

LSU has stated they will comply with whatever the court ruling is. If the players are ruled ineligible, they won’t play.

There has literally been at least two stories broken today that South Carolina and Kentucky are signing former pros. Another judge just ruled the Bama point guard that’s spent 3 years in the NBA G League is eligible to come back and play for Bama this fall.

Yall are absurd.

Didn't they just take out a reverse mortgage of 100 million dollars ? The creditors would probably go ballistic if they were forced to go to another conference

No LSU fan should want that.

The SEC has a rule that says they can't play.

LSU should have immediately stopped what they were doing when the rule was clarified and signed off by all the other schools. They did not.

Kiffn/LSU instead went full speed ahead, brought them on campus and everything else and have them in practice.

There is no court rule that forces you to take them. That was the choice of LSU/Kiffin.

I would assume the BIG would pay just as much money as the SEC?

You don’t have the academics for the B1G. Nice try. Maybe the Twelve would take your school?

You actually think it’s about academics? Does the BIG have tougher entrance criteria for their athletes than the SEC?

I ask because I’m pretty sure there aren’t many rocket scientist playing for Ohio State or Michigan.

It’s about money, something you as an A$M fan should be well versed in understanding.

Chambliss is on year 6.

5 for 5 had no effect on him and he’d be out of eligibility based on the new rules too

At this time neither Conference USA nor the Sun Belt specifically prohibit pro players. So there is always hope.
