I think Marshall has the potential but do you think he and Aubie can develop the passing game necessary to contend for it?

Also, do you think the lack of Auburn's passing game due to Marshall's bad throws, just not having much of a WR corps to break him in/establish chemistry or what? I can't see a Heisman with the current passing game -- maybe a nomination but not the award when he's playing QB instead of RB.

Nick got to school 2 weeks before Fall Camp started. He went through ZERO Spring Ball being coached by Gus and Rhett, ZERO Early
Summer Camp 7-On-7s, ZERO time with the WRs...

Just wait...

Zach Mettenberger - LSU

His successor will get the job done. He drove 99 yards to beat us - the kid is ready.

Winning does tend to do that but I'm certain how long AUB can sustain not passing as teams will adjust to him instead of assuming it was just other opponents who sucked. If Auburn and Marshall can develop his passing game he'll be amazing.

FWIW, Marshall has supposedly been invited to the Manning Passing Academy over the summer and will be working with George Whitfield in the offseason. If he improves his passing, I could see him being in the Heisman talks with all we bring back on O.
