False. PennSt has ZERO offense. Lane getting fitty.
Football ignorant. Penn State has the #12 offense in the country. OM's offense is ranked #19.
Iowa has the #5 defense in the country and PSU beat them 31-0. Iowa was 10-2 in the regular season.
Penn State also has not given up more than 24 points all season, so Kiffin won't be scoring 50.

Agree with MedDog here, no way in hell Ol' Piss moves the ball up and down the field against that PussyCat State defense...NO WAY! Their front 7 is just nasty, and yards will be at a premium.
Many think Kiffen is some "great" coach, yet he doesn't understand one simple concept...you can't really get where you want to go in College Football with a wet paper bag defense. If the PussyCats don't turn the ball over, they get a relatively easy win here...and will have the Ol' Piss defense very tired in the fourth quarter!

I don't know about the bowl results,'but the SEC seems down. Auburn, A&M , Arkansas, State, and even LSU are or appear to be down. Florida and maybe a couple others from the East seem down.
Missouri and OM are better , but that's just two teams vs the down list.

Defensive touchdowns and short fields really props up their scoring average.
They are in the 60s in total offense.
Their d carried them all year long against a schedule with 4 teams with offenses ranked worse than 100. No teams in the top 30 on offense. So no top 30 and 4 bottom 30 offenses on the schedule. Hell, our D looks good against offenses outside the top 50 too.
The offenses they played had an average ranking of 84. They haven't even played one really good offense all year long.
West Virginia was their big test.
The big 10 runs and punts it back and forth and everyone declares they got the best defenses.
Then the bowl games happen and tcu and uga hang 40+ on them.
Same song 185th verse.

quote:Nah. The SEC was the best it's ever been. For some reason if you say they sec isn't the greatest every year people complain. When we have a losing record in the bowls again they will have some lame excuses again.
SEC is just down this year
