SEC is hypocritical. Crying about 2 players who wanted to join LSU who didn’t make an NFL team, basically got paid to practice.

But yet these same universities gladly accept 25, 30, 40 year olds to re-enroll into college. They got paid, they went out in the world and found they needed more, etc

These 2 guys are no different. These guys and LSU followed the rules made by the SEC. Now these 2 guys have nothing, no football career but would a university accept them if they came back just for a degree?

Just not involving LSU.

Yes, and some of us even called them out for it. Although, not for the reasons you stated.

Yes.

It's amazing how the league is picking on poor 'lil LSU.

Y'all are only trying to do what's right for the kids.

Didn’t get even paid for practice one of them got hurt before and never practiced and got a gas check for 165 bucks that’s it. Not per rumor but through court testimony under oath at same hearing Stinky admitted he didn’t know the rules for 5 for 5, didn’t know the NCAA rules and makes almost 5 million a year.

The 5 to play 5 rule will start with 2026 seniors....so no need for lawsuits going forward.

the only class it will affect is the 2025 guys...if the NCAA gives that class a pass and lets those who didn't make a team come back...problem solved.

If not they will prob keep trying to sue their way into somewhere.

And you can bet lsu wont be doing anything. The SEC smacked yall back in line...lol.

"I want to emphasize once again that the main reason I'm doing this is that I refuse to ruin the lives of two young men who have spent their adolescence and teenage years, working and sweating, while we were all in the air conditioning."

Cam Robinson & Hootie Jones say hello

The 5 for 5 rule is already live lol. There are class of 2022 players throughout the league playing on TROs.

Not LSU’s problem, but at least get the facts straight.

That’s really something people have struggled with throughout this saga. Facts.

Texas didn’t follow the rules until a few days ago and they still left spot open but Sankey knows a Texas LSU alliance and he is done, and knows better to frick with the richest school in America.
The motherfrickers got almost 250,000 from me over the last few years.

Kentucky backed off after they came after LSU and has already been sued by the former NFL player. USCe added a punter during the hearing and and are my new hero’s .

you Ole Miss people really need to improve your education in that state.

LSU is coming out of this just fine. It is the SEC as a whole that looks petty and vengeful.

The media other than Sankey lackey Finebaum saw LSU was being targeted for same thing others were doing.

The other conferences are laughing at everyone but LSU.

I agree- the SEC did not go after Texas just like it would never go against Bama or Georgia.

The NCAA's new 5-in-5 eligibility rule begins rolling out in the 2026–2027 academic year and phases in completely for incoming groups starting with the NCAA Division I and II Age-Based Eligibility Rules for the 2027–2028 cycle

Thats exactly what I said. this year's graduating class will be the first to be able to take advantage of it.

those 2022 players are playing on TRO because they weren't able to play under to play 5 because they finished up in 2025...and there was no 5 to play 5 in place then.

at least do a google search or something before trying to correct someone.

Also...5 to play 5 has nothing to do with what LSU shite yall were trying to pull.

You could not be more misinformed.

The NCAA was restrained by courts because the 5 for 5 rule has no terminology explicitly excluding the class of 2022 + did so exclusively by the timing of when it was implemented.

This is why the NCAA lost & this is why so many HS class of 2022 players have TROs.

It has everything to do with Harris and Wright & the others because they were not given a choice at the end of their season.

What’s funny? There are 300 players from class of 2022 already playing on TROs.

Wright and Harris are suing the NCAA and SEC for damages.

Literally lawsuits galore & none of them involving LSU.

The SEC is complicit in this witch hunt. They caused it. They tried to bully LSU and now their true colors are showing

It will likely be torn apart in court.

There is no real answer to all this right now.

The NCAA has lost nearly every court case.
