Injured his back months ago and it hindered his training. Now his ankle is messed up. This is basically his redshirt year. No way he was going to play much in his first year at OLB, but yeah it's always frustrating for head coaches when the depth takes a hit

It looks bad for Montgomery, given what he said in pre-draft interviews.
Regardless, I think he'll fit in nicely in Houston.

They were talking about throwing Davis in the mix on punt return.

Yeah i don't see him doing that great there. He's never done it before and doesn't have a lot of agility. Kick return maybe. His straight line speed could come in handy.
