Y’all that keep saying this doesn’t make sense geographically need to get out of the 1970s schools aren’t taking buses all over the country. A new super league with the best of the best (and apparently the scuba of the SEC like SCAR) don’t have to have their biggest rivals be just across the state line.

If the Mich., OSU, Clempson, & FSU thing happens, look for more in the future.

Notre Dame
Penn State
Nebraska
Southern Cal
Stanford
Oregon
etc.

They won’t get them all, but a new CFB league is coming and it’s going to mean better matchups and more quality games.

No, this is only about football.

So all the other sports at SEC schools will still be regulated and run by the NCAA? Including basketball?

Don't think thats the way it works and the NCAA already has minimal control over CFB when it comes to TV revenue and the CFB playoffs and they have zero control over conference realignment.
