“Vandy has two more baseball titles than Alabama does.”

The WHOLE country literally doesn’t give one shite. They can have a hundred…baseball… titles and I wouldn’t trade places. When Bama plays for a title there are 25 million watching. When Vandy or..,ole miss play for a baseball title there are 5. Nah, you can keep baseball.

I grew up in Nashville and as a native Nashvillian , having Vandy in the SEC is a sentimental pick for me. Especially since I lived 10 minutes away from campus .
I remember a restaurant near campus in the late nineties had old football pictures of Vanderbilt during the SIAA days and that’s the first time I realized that they used to be really good since I grew up thinking they always sucked.
They’re my darkhorse pick this year to do better than the talking heads think.
I predict they’ll take down one of the top teams this year.

My favorite Vandy memory is from their 80’s B-Ball team that had Big Will Perdue & a guy named Barry Goheen that made a couple half court shots that won the game for them. I spent many hours shooting ridiculously long shots as a kid thinking I was Barry Goheen.
