Ive never been impressed with the GusBus. Even with one of the best DCs in the conf, he cant stay consistently good

I agree that he’s underwhelming, but in regards to accomplishments, so are the guys below him. In terms of expectations, Stoops probably exceeds the standard more than most. Saban and Smart are the only two that have proven to be “consistently good” though.
