Great timeline on A&M and Mizzou's move to the SEC and how it all went down.

It's a free article at a pay site. Long story short, it's all TX and OK's fault so blame our presence on them.

Very interesting article. Sounded like a total shite show that was started by UT and OK..

Congratulations! Missouri fits better than West Virginia would in my opinion. Northern West Virginia is just Southern ohio. Missouri has some southern feel to it.

A lot of that was making the rounds via the rumor mill at the time. It's cool to see it confirmed.

Once I heard the SEC was in play I was all in hoping the Tigers would make that move. F the big10 and the little 12.

Away games are way more fun and are in places people actually want to visit.

I hope every fricker in the SEC that spouts off bringing OU and UT into the SEC reads this article. They are self-serving cancers who will demand privilege and exception.

frick Texas. frick the LHN. frick burnt Orange. frick OU for letting it happen. frick Tech and Baylor for being such pussies about it. frick ESPN. frick Deloss Dodds. frick Chip Brown. And most importantly, frick the Big 12.

Thank God for Nebraska and Colorado for getting the damn thing started. And thank God for Loftin for sacking up and getting the deal done.

So mizzou first and foremost wanted to join the big10, then wanted to stay in the Big12 then only wanted to join the SEC as a last resort?

Glad Mizzou joined the SEC. Kentucky finally has someone against whom it can get some regular wins in football

Mizzou started out thinking that if they left the B12 then the B10 made the most sense. At that time they didn't think the SEC was an option.

Once the B10 offer turned into a jr. membership the Tigers declined and the nubs took it. That is about the time the SEC-Mizzou conversation started.
