Cam will easily be a top 20 pick in round 1..I'd draft him in the top 10. He is a better passer than Vick was coming out of college, and look what Vick is doing these days.

If I'm Cincinatti, I'm drafting him to sit behind Palmer for 1 year then trading Carson to get some value back for him.
Arizona, SF, Buffalo,Tennessee- all need a QB. There is a place for Newton in the top 10

No he should jump at that now if hes guaranteed first round. RB's being drafted high is dissappearing in the league.

i would agree with this. pierre thomas was undrafted. chris ivory was undrafted and leads all rookies in yards, ypc, and TD's

I really really really want Newton in Nashville.

Great running game, and a vastly underrated group of recievers.

With Britt, Williams, and Washington.

My only concerns with Newton will be his adjustment to playing in a Pro-Style or a West Coast style offense. Lotta called runs for Newton and read-options in the Auburn offense causing him to have to read a blitz or secondary for what??..maybe a third of a game or less when a pass was called. Auburn's run to pass ratio was 3 to almost. He will be asked to read a blitz or coverage scheme maybe 60% - 70% of a game in the NFL when he gets his shot. Will it be too much for him and turns into Tim Couch?... or will he blossom and be the Matt Ryan of the 2011 draft? Not sure but I cant wait to find out lol. I think he has the tools to be a pocket passer and have a throw 1st mentality, but as is with all QB's picked high its very hard to predict who will boom or bust

Ingram is kind of fortunate if he goes in the 20s because he'll likely get picked up by a team who can make the playoffs.

im telling you guys that if ingram gets drafted by somebody with a great O-LINE,he will be rookie of the year..mark my words..because he reminds me of a back that used to wear #22 for the cowboys..if he gets drafted by a good offensive line

The guy was a consensus top 5 pick coming into the year. Yes, he'll get on a better team out of the break, but there is a big dropoff in money between the #22 drafted player and the #5.

I don't think I have seen a draft board that had him going top 5 at any point in time....ever. HB's are easy to find and draft in later rounds. Why waste tens of millions on a guy like Cadillac in the top 5 when you can get players just as good or better in the late 1st or 2nd round?

I thought for some reason that I saw him there on MK's draft board back in May. Went back and looked, and alas, I was wrong. fml.

Is it wrong that I'm a little glad I don't see Justin Houston's name mentioned here? Could mean that he comes back for his senior year...

Thats why Newton needs to go to a team with an aging or average QB he can sit behind a year or so. Cincinnati, Washington, Oakland, Cleveland, Denver, Buffalo- would be good places for him to go and learn for a season. He doesnt need to go to Arizona, Tennessee, SF, or somewhere he needs to play immediately.

Having a year to sit and learn would be huge for him and the franchise that drafts him. Thats why I suggested Cincy- they need a new coach anyway, and it will take at least 2 years to get them ready to get back in the playoffs. Palmer can still play and Newton would learn alot.

Adrian Peterson was the best RB prospect in the last 10-20 years and while he has lived up to the hype, you can still get similar production for MUCH less money. I agree drafting RB's high has never made much sense to me....

i agree. Especially if you're a team like the Bills where almost every position is a need.

Personally I think Cinci should pick up Ziemba the first chance they get to replace that idiot they have at right tackle. Yes, I know he was a UofA man but I still think Ziemba would be a better choice.

Derek Sherrod of State is the #1 rated OT in the draft
